OPEN NEW YEAR’S DAY!

Give the Gift of Joy This Year!
You can give children in need the gift of joy this Christmas by donating a toy or gift through Matt’s Stocking. This wonderful organization was born out of a family’s grief. Seeing their son’s Christmas stocking the first year after his death, they had two choices: tuck it away, or honor Matt by doing something good with it. They filled the stocking for a child in need. Years later, Matt’s Stocking has helped bring smiles to the faces of hundreds of children in our own community.
This holiday season, Stainton’s is partnering with Matt’s Stocking to help bring awareness to this worthy cause. You’ll find stockings decorated with a child’s Christmas wish at local businesses like ours throughout Cape May County. Just pick up a stocking, fulfill the wish, and bring your donation back to that location.

Check Out Jaime’s New Ride!
A few months ago, we let you know that our own amazing employee Maggie needed some help. Her son Jaime had gotten a brand-new wheelchair, but he needed a bigger wheelchair-accessible van to accommodate it.
Well, you came through! With the help of our wonderful community, Maggie and Jaime just got their new ride. And they want to thank everyone who helped make it happen. Whether you got the word out, you contributed to their GoFundMe campaign, or both, just know how much you’re kindness is appreciated!

How Dapper Dogs Can Save a Breed
Stainton’s is proud to partner with Bully Bows in their efforts to help dogs across the country! New to Stainton’s, Bully Bows sells fun collars, leashes, and—of course—bow ties to help tackle the stigma of bully breeds like Pit Bulls. They also donate a portion of their proceeds to shelters and other animal-related charitable organizations.
From the owner: “Why Bully Bows? The idea came after rescuing Kaighn, my amazing Pit Bull from a local shelter. He had a tough first year or two of his life and has settled very nicely into his new home. Kaighn wanted the world to know the reputation of Pitties wasn’t true.
Like so many other dogs in his predicament, he was treated poorly, fought to survive, and longed for the love and affection of a human companion. One day I found a clip-on bow tie and placed it on Kaighn’s collar. He received so many smiles and compliments on our daily walks. From that day on I thought that all dogs should have an opportunity to wear their Sunday’s best every day. That is how the idea of Bully Bows was formed.
While the face of the company is bully breeds we love and service all pets and provide low cost high quality supplies for your best friend. Our mission is to not only provide you with a great product but to also help dogs across the country. Each month, Bully Bows will be sharing a portion of its proceeds with different charities and shelters. Monthly, we will announce the name of the shelter or charity those proceeds will be going toward. Your purchases will not only make your pet look great but help dogs in need.”

These Kids Help Others Breathe Easier
This month, we’re highlighting another incredible locally based organization: The Randles’ Boys Foundation.
The non-profit was inspired by the battle of two young boys against Cystic Fibrosis, a devastating and often deadly disease that attacks the lungs.
One thousand people are diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis each year, most of them young children. But with the help of family and friends, Collin and Sean Randles have raised more than $150,000 to support CF research, medical facilities, and families fighting CF.
With your help, they could make an even bigger impact. Click here to learn more about the organization and donate to their cause today!

Creating Smiles for Kids with Cancer
This month, we’re so proud to partner with Ryan’s Case for Smiles, a nonprofit organization that’s “helping kids feel better to heal better.”
Sometimes, it’s the little things that mean the most. That’s what Cindy Kerr discovered when her son was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer at the age of 12. She couldn’t fight the cancer for him, but she found a way to make him smile—with a colorful custom pillow case to dress up his drab hospital room.
Today, Ryan’s Case for Smiles has delivered more than a million pillow cases (and smiles) to kids fighting cancer. Click here to learn more about this incredible organization and support their cause!
