Stainton’s is proud to partner with Bully Bows in their efforts to help dogs across the country! New to Stainton’s, Bully Bows sells fun collars, leashes, and—of course—bow ties to help tackle the stigma of bully breeds like Pit Bulls. They also donate a portion of their proceeds to shelters and other animal-related charitable organizations.
From the owner: “Why Bully Bows? The idea came after rescuing Kaighn, my amazing Pit Bull from a local shelter. He had a tough first year or two of his life and has settled very nicely into his new home. Kaighn wanted the world to know the reputation of Pitties wasn’t true.
Like so many other dogs in his predicament, he was treated poorly, fought to survive, and longed for the love and affection of a human companion. One day I found a clip-on bow tie and placed it on Kaighn’s collar. He received so many smiles and compliments on our daily walks. From that day on I thought that all dogs should have an opportunity to wear their Sunday’s best every day. That is how the idea of Bully Bows was formed.
While the face of the company is bully breeds we love and service all pets and provide low cost high quality supplies for your best friend. Our mission is to not only provide you with a great product but to also help dogs across the country. Each month, Bully Bows will be sharing a portion of its proceeds with different charities and shelters. Monthly, we will announce the name of the shelter or charity those proceeds will be going toward. Your purchases will not only make your pet look great but help dogs in need.”

Even Santa Claus needs a helping hand this time of year. So we’re partnering with a beautiful charitable organization called Matt’s Stocking to help the Big Man spread joy to children throughout Cape May County.
After tragically losing their young son Matt to a car accident, Bob and April Lassor struggled at Christmastime with whether to hang his stocking. They decided to honor his memory by filling it with gifts for a child in need.
That idea blossomed into a non-profit organization that has brought Christmas magic to hundreds of families over the last 20 years.
To learn more about the organization and to donate, visit www.mattsstocking.org. There, you’ll also find a list of local businesses that offer stockings to fill and return for donation.
Be a little elvish and join their wonderful cause with us this Christmas!

This month, Stainton’s is partnering with the Ocean City Police Department to bring joy to underprivileged children through the Shop with a Cop program.
Your donations give children the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with Santa and several other fun activities before traveling to local stores with OCPD officers. Each child is given a gift certificate that allows them to purchase presents—and OC’s finest are at the ready to help them with their selections.
Your donations will also help fund other great holiday events sponsored by the OCPD, including a day spent with the kids at the 4th Street Head Start Daycare and a fun-filled evening at Ocean City Primary School.
Help us spread joy to the kids who need it most this holiday season! For more information or to make a donation, stop in to Stainton’s or give us a call at 609-545-8688.

This month, Stainton’s is partnering with the Tyler Wechsler Foundation, which honors the optimism and generosity of fallen United States marine Tyler Wechsler. The non-profit organization, which Tyler’s family created, was built around his favorite philosophy: “Go big or go home.” It’s dedicated to giving back to the community in which Tyler was born and raised.
This year’s donations will benefit the Tyler Wechsler Scholarship and Last Salute, an Atlantic County organization that provides free military funeral ceremonies for active and veteran military personnel.
